Marketing Committee Goals

• Help the Shawnee District earn the Centennial Quality District Award.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Webmaster and director of the Jayhawk Area Council.
• Establish documentation for web activities:
  • “Policies and Guidelines”
  • “Roles and Responsibilities”
• Research and evaluate website capabilities for:
  • Online registration for events and activities.
  • Online charter renewal.
  • E-mail listings.
  • E-business capabilities.
  • Forms and templates that can be used by Committee members to post information on website.
  • Enhanced replacement for “Bugler” type newsletter information.
  • “Bulleting Board” type area where units can post happenings to the website.
• Continue to investigate better and faster technologies for our web site.
