  • 2019 Cub District Day Camps

    Like the name implies, Day Camps are conducted during the day. They are planned and operated by local volunteers in various locations around the council. Cub Scouts of all ages are welcome to attend. Choose the location and dates that work best for you.
  • 2019 Fun With Family Resident Camps

    Fun with Family Camps are two-day one-night camping experiences open for Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts and their family – parents and/or other adults and siblings. Fun Camps are indeed for fun and offer a scheduled array of activity choices for all family members. Three meals – Day 1-supper and Day 2-breakfast and lunch are served.
  • 2019 Sunflower District Spring Camporee

    Registration is now open for the 2019 Sunflower District Spring Camporee.
  • COPE Certification

    COPE Course Workday and Training Weekend Become certified or recertified as a level I COPE/Climbing Instructor.
  • Develop Leadership through National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)

    National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is the premier youth leadership training course for Boy Scout and Venture youth leaders. It provides the skills that youth leaders need to be successful in their Scouting roles and in life.

  • 2019 Cub Scout Resident Camps

    Save the date(s) for this summer’s Jayhawk Area Council’s “Cub Scout Resident Camps” and “Fun with Family Cub Scout Camps” at Falley Scout Reservation. This summer there will be three 3-day-2-night Resident camps (2 Cub Scout sessions and 1 Webelos Scout session) and two 2-day-1-night “Fun with Family” Cub Scout weekend camps.
  • 2019 NYLT Staff Registration

    Those who have been selected be on staff for the 2019 National Youth Leaders Training can register here.
  • BALOO and OLS Training - Mar 30-31, 2019

    Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) has recently been revised and is an overnight Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event. Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (OLS) - This is an overnight course for all Scouts BSA & Venture Leaders that provides instruction and practice in the outdoor skills that are important in Scouting.
  • COPE Course Workday and Training Weekend

    Are you interested in taking your Troop or Crew climbing or rappelling as a unit activity at Falley Scout Reservation? Once you have a leader in your unit trained to run these programs, you can check out gear from the camp and put on these activities for your scouts. The training is a weekend-long course and covers topics such as tower management.
  • Florida Sea Base Sailing Adventure

    How would you like to cruise around the Florida Keys in a 40 foot sail boat? Your days will be spent sailing, snorkeling, and fishing as you learn the ropes of an ocean voyage. Join us June 1, 2019.
  • Shunga District Cub Scout Lock In Newly Added Content

    District Pinewood Derby, Sling Shots, CPR Certification, Martial Arts, and more! Check out what activities Shunga District will host after hours in the West Ridge Mall. This event is open to any Scouts in or around the Topeka area!
  • Teeters and Westar Energy Named as 2019 Distinguished Citizen Honorees Newly Added Content

    The Jayhawk Area Council, Boy Scouts of America has announced they will honor Dr. Stan and Jody Teeter as 2019 Distinguished Citizens and Westar Energy an Evergy Company as the 2019 Distinguished Corporate Citizen.
  • Wolf Creek Offering Nuclear Science and Other Merit Badges March 30th

    Mark the date to come to Wolf Creek to complete the Nuclear Science Badge or another merit badge.
