Topeka to host Magna Carta exhibit

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Chief Judge Evelyn Wilson are to host a travelling exhibit that displays the history of the Magna Carta, a document created in 13th century England, which heavily influenced democracy in the United States.

This exhibit is in celebration of the Magna Carta's 800th anniversary, and will include sixteen banners that detail the sealing of the document.

It will be on display at the State Capitol building for the first two weeks of July, and then at the Kansas Supreme Court building for the last two weeks of the month.

All Scouts and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend a viewing of the exhibit.

Tours can be scheduled with the Kansas Supreme Court Law Library staff at (785) 296-3257
