Personnel Announcement at the Jayhawk Area Council

I am pleased to announce following additions and changes to the Jayhawk Area Council Staff.

Zachary Mundy has accepted the position of Sojadi District Executive.  In this position, Zach will serve the counties of Coffey, Lyon, Osage, and Greenwood.

Zach is an Eagle Scout from Troop 283 in Raytown, MO.  He has been involved in Scouting since Tiger Cub.  He obtained the rank of Runner in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say at H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Zach is a graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science degree majoring in Psychology with a minor in Music. He is engaged to Stephanie, a Masters student at Emporia State University, and they have two cats, Penny and Honey.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking homemade pizzas, and riding his bike.

Kimberley Brummett will join us as our Fundraising Specialist.  In this role, she will be responsible for all the data entry and correspondence for our fundraising activities including Friends of Scouting, Special Events, grants, project sales, and United Way support.  She will also be handling the records, billings, and processing of the council’s popcorn sale.

Kimberley is a graduate of Washburn University with majors in finance, marketing, and management.  She has considerable work experience regarding accounts receivable and correspondence from her time at Sudentreasures Publishing and Eucaliyptus Real Estate.  She enjoys spending time playing with her dog Vinnie and watching movies.

Stephanie Wessel will be shifting from Fundraising Specialist to a Sales Associate in the Jayhawk Scout Shop.  She will be a part of Larry Glover’s team in the store to serve our units and Scouting families.

Please congratulate Stephanie on her new responsibilities and welcome Kimberley and Zachary to the Jayhawk Area Council.
