New Camp Ranger Selected for Falley Scout Reservation

The Jayhawk Area Council is pleased to announce Thomas Bagley has been selected as the Camp Ranger for Falley Scout Reservation. He will begin on October 1.

Thomas is a 2015 graduate of Washburn Tech with a degree is Climate and Energy Control Technology and attended Hayden High School.  He has been working in the heating and air field for six years both at Washburn University and Central Mechanical Construction He is a mechanically licensed Journeyman. Thomas served on our summer camp staff in numerous positions between 2013 and 2015 culminating in the position of Assistant Ranger. He has been a part of our Camp Maintenance Team since 2015.

Thomas is a Topeka native and was a member of Pack and Troop 11 chartered to Christ the King Catholic Church.  He is an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow. He served two years as the Dzie Hauk Tonga Lodge Chief during the 100th Anniversary of the Order of the Arrow and was recognized with the Founders Award.  He is currently registered as an Assistant Scoutmaster and is Wood Badge trained.

Thomas is active in his church currently serving as Grand Knight for the Christ the King Knights of Columbus. He is a big fan of Kansas State football and basketball as well as Royals baseball. He enjoys backpacking having just returned from a hiking trip in Glacier National Park in Montana.
