Jayhawk Area Council Seeks Fundraising Assistant

The Jayhawk Area Council is seeking qualified candidates to fill the Fundraising Assistant vacancy.  

The Fundraising Assistant is responsible for the entry of all pledges and payments received, creating and mailing bills, and handling all correspondence related to the Jayhawk Area Council’s fundraising campaigns.  Campaigns include the annual Friends of Scouting campaign, Foundation and Grants, Project Sales, and our various special events.  The Fundraising Assistant would report to Erin Aldridge, Development Director.

This position is 20-25 hours/week with some flexibility in arrival and departure times.  Certain seasonal activities may increase the number of hours for short-term periods.

Qualified applicants need to have a working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Knowledge in Blackbaud is desired but not required.
