Units Can Earn the Chandler Duty to God Unit Award

The Jayhawk Area Council is proud to again offer the Chandler Duty to God unit Award.  The goals of the award are to increase the ways Scouting units at all  levels can demonstrate both "Duty to God" and "A Scout is Reverent" by increasing the awareness and availability of the Religious Emblem programs to our Scouts while showing appreciation to our religious institutions.

The award is available to all units chartered in the Jayhawk Area Council.  It has four requirements that demonstrate promotion of religious awards and actively engaging Scouts in their faith or the faith of the chartering organization.  The award is presented at the Council Annual Dinner in February.  In addition, qualifying units can purchase a special Chandler Duty to God patch for leaders and Scouts.  Proceeds of the patch go towards the promotion of religious awards throughout the Jayhawk Area Council.

To see if your unit qualified in 2019 as well as planning for 2020, Please see the Chandler Duty To God order form.
