BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - TOPEKA REGION

CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS EMBLEMS CLASSES FORMING NOW

 

AD ALTARE DEI: Most Pure Heart of Mary’s B.S.A. Troop 46 is offering Catholic Boy Scouts or Venturing Scouts from the Topeka region (ages 13 – 18) the Ad Altare Dei religious award classes again this year.  The Ad Altare Dei program offers Scouts the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith through study of the Sacraments.  Classes begin in early September.  Please contact Anna Ramirez at 785-249-9783 for registration information.  Applications for class participation are due no later than August 27, 2018.

 

POPE PIUS XII: John Spain, Jayhawk Area Council’s Advancement Chairman and a member of St. Matthew's Parish, is assembling a group of Catholic Scouts from the Topeka region interested in earning the Pope Pius XII religious emblem. This program is designed for older Scouts (Boy Scouts or Venturing Scouts) typically in grades 9 to 12. It explores the roles that Scouts prepare for as they discern their lifetime vocation. Classes will begin in late September.  Please contact John Spain at 785-379-5359 for registration information.  Applications for participation in this group are due no later than September 1, 2018.
