Penguin Plunge 5K 2022

At Camp Delaware, home of our Cub Scouts, our aquatics program has included adventures for each rank such as Spirit of the Water, Salmon Run, and Aquanaut. These are all elective, NOT requirements!! That means Cub Scouts who aren’t interested in water activities are fine to stay on dry land. Aquatics-related adventures give packs and dens more opportunities to enjoy the water.

Last year, this event helped raise fund towards the following:

  • Water Relay (buckets, sponges, cups, etc.)
  • Fishing Poles
  • STEM kits to experiment with our lake water.

No, our aquatics team will be monitoring the number of participants who are going into the water and how far they are allowed to go in.
